Fort Edmonton Park's summer season also ends today. After Labour Day it opens weekends only, September 12, 13, 19 and 20.
Summer Grillin' weekend runs September 11 to 13. A ticketed Pitmasters Dinner at Leduc Brewing on the Friday, then the free festival and market on 49 Street Saturday and Sunday.
Most municipal offices are closed today, but Leduc garbage goes out as normal and the Leduc Recreation Centre is open 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Presented by AMRIK, this is Leduc's thank you to its volunteers and non-profits, with the Citizens of Distinction award ceremony, live entertainment and family activities. Leduc RCMP ran Project Streetlight for a second year The detachment held its second annual Project Streetlight operation on August 13 and 14, a joint effort between police, municipal partners, social agencies and residents. It pairs enforcement with outreach: repeat offender and warrant work and check stops on one side, crisis intervention, diversion teams and business and resident engagement on the other, with locations picked through crime analysis and community feedback. Beaumont RCMP logged 361 calls for service in August Up from 313 in July. Beaumont, Triomphe Estates. Two localized road and sidewalk closures for underground utility repairs, near 36 Street and Triomphe Boulevard and near 35 Street at 45 Avenue, with temporary detours.
Beaumont, Dansereau Meadows. FortisAlberta transformer relocation near 65 Street and 62 Avenue, parking lane and sidewalk closures until complete. Also expect heavy machinery and trucks crossing Township Rd 510 for the Dansereau development.
Beaumont, Ken Nichol Regional Recreation Centre. The downstairs washrooms are being renovated. Use the upper lobby ones, which are finished. Worth knowing if you are heading to the Thursday farmers market there.
Beaumont, Beaumont Sport and Recreation Centre. The Cenotaph roundabout is open again, but it closes temporarily once the monument arrives for installation.
