Phoenix's Beaumont location kicks off its regular season Tuesday, Sept 1, taught by Master Al Passmore, 7th degree black belt. Shadow Warriors for ages 4-7, regular Taekwon-do, kickboxing and BJJ classes for 7 and up. New members get their first two months plus a custom uniform for $99.

Multi-Sport: Sportball (Leduc & Beaumont)
Sportball's fall Multi-Sport program rotates kids through soccer, basketball, hockey, t-ball and more in one registration, split by age from Parent & Child up to 8 years old. Confirmed fall sessions:
Leduc Recreation Centre: Tuesdays, Sep 15-Nov 3, Parent & Child (2-3.5 yrs) 5:15-6 pm and Multi-Sport Indoor (3.5-5 yrs) 6:05-6:50 pm, $138.80. A second round runs Fridays Nov 20-Dec 18 for 16 months to 5 years.
Beaumont Sport and Recreation Centre: Thursdays, Sep 17-Nov 5, morning and evening sessions for 2-3.5 yrs and 3.5-5 yrs, $122-$151.20.
Bellevue School Gym, Beaumont: Saturdays, Sep 19-Nov 14, four time slots covering 16 months through 8 years.
Pricing and exact class list can shift depending on the postal code entered, so have people search their own to confirm before registering.
Worth the Drive: Clip Clop Horseback Riding Lessons
Clip Clop is a youth riding and horsemanship program for ages 5 to 18, running indoor lessons year-round (in a heated arena), and 2026-27 season registration is open now. If you have a kid who is horse crazy or just curious, Clip Clop introduces newcomers to the sport in a fun and safe way to riding (just ask their 4000+ families served!)

Sept 2 — Second public engagement session for the proposed Kinsmen Park youth centre, Leduc.
Sept 3 — READ with the RCMP, Leduc Public Library; also Beaumont Farmers Market's September hours begin.
Sept 7 — Canada Strong Pass ends. Free admission at Elk Island and free entry for under-18s at Reynolds-Alberta both stop after this date.
Sept 10 — Your Neighbourhood Market's Community Awareness Night, Devon Community Centre, open to nonprofits, community groups and businesses looking for table space. Also the date BSRC Aquatic Centre (Beaumont) closes for annual maintenance through Oct 1; members can use the Leduc Recreation Centre pool in the meantime.
