Elk Island National Park (~1 hr). Bison most active in July and August. Free for everyone through Sept 7 under the Canada Strong Pass, and free year-round for ages 6-17.

Leduc Food Bank Distributes Over 731,000 lbs of Food in 2025 The Leduc and District Food Bank's 2025 annual report shows it distributed more than 731,000 lbs of food region-wide (425,010 lbs in Leduc, 87,857 in Beaumont, 53,467 in Devon, 40,706 in the rural county), serving nearly 1,100 families. Leduc Arts Foundry's Annual Art Walk Fills Downtown The Leduc Arts Foundry's 2026 Art Walk drew crowds to 50 Avenue on July 18, with an artist marketplace, live music, and local councillors reading stories alongside indigenous beading and caricature art. Beaumont Library Sets All-Time Visit Records The Bibliothèque de Beaumont recorded over 70,000 visits in 2025, an all-time high, along with records for program attendance and print checkouts, even after a month-long closure for renovations. 2026 is already running 9% ahead of that pace. Devon Completes Town Hall Energy Efficiency Upgrades The Town finished LED lighting and weatherstripping upgrades at Town Hall, partly funded by a $10,000 rebate.
