Leduc Chamber of Commerce Celebrates 120 Years
On July 13, the Leduc Chamber of Commerce marked 120 years serving the local business community with a free celebration at their headquarters on 50 Street — a milestone few regional business associations reach.
UFA Breaks Ground on New Distribution Centre Near Leduc
UFA celebrated the groundbreaking of a new 200,000 sq. ft. distribution centre with 17 acres of yard space just south of Edmonton near Leduc, expected to open this fall and bring new jobs to the region.

New Community Mural Brightens the CBYC
A four-mural public art project at the Chantal Bérubé Community Youth Centre is complete, shaped by workshops with local youth ages 12–17 and painted by Edmonton-based artist Josh Harnack, celebrating prairie landscapes, local landmarks, and community belonging.
Beaumont Building Economic Momentum
The city has approved 75,000+ square feet of new commercial space, set to bring a brand-new grocery store and auto services to town.

Beaumont is easing water use restrictions as the city's wastewater system returns to normal capacity — a welcome loosening for lawns and gardens this summer.
Leduc's 2026 citizen satisfaction survey is in: residents say it's a good place to live overall, but affordability and value-for-taxes remain the top priorities. Full results were published July 8.
Leduc County's broadband infrastructure project has been delayed until at least September, pushed back by near-record rainfall through June.
